Introducing our new chef here at Mpeti Lodge– We are sad to say goodbye to Chef Paul Eaton who left Mpeti at the end of October to pursue his dream of running his own business. Paul was instrumental in setting up the kitchen and restaurant & creating the menu here at Mpeti.
For those of you had the privilege to sample some of Paul’s fine cooking will know that he poured his heart & soul into each dish. Paul has left behind a legacy at Mpeti but not before handing the “wooden spoon” to the kitchen over to Chef Shaun Moss who will now be taking over the kitchen full time.
Chef Shaun Moss hails from the Eastern Cape and did his culinary training at Giant’s Castle in the Drakensberg. He is passionate about exploring new places and has spent a lot of time travelling throughout Africa. His specialty lies in seafood & meat dishes and we are thrilled to have him on our team.
